Dedication ceremony celebration to the 1718 Spanish Governor Martin de Alarcon Expedition participants who founded San Antonio, Mission San Antonio de Valero (The Alamo), Presidio de Bexar/Bejar (Spanish Governor's Palace) and the Villa de Bexar/Bejar (first Spanish settlement of San Antonio).

Please join the descendants at the Spanish Governor’s Palace as they dedicate a celebration ceremony to the naming and establishment and founding of San Antonio, Villa de Bejar/Bexar (first Spanish Settlement of San Antonio), Mission San Antonio de Valero (The Alamo) and the Presidio de Bejar/Bexar (Spanish Governor’s Palace) which occurred 300 years ago between May 1-5, 1718 by the Spanish Governor Martin de Alarcon, Friars, 35 Presidio Soldiers and their families.
